About The Position
We are looking for several English into Thai linguists to join our growing team for one of our global clients, a music streaming company with various important entertainment services such as music streaming, podcasts, etc. They will take ownership of the incoming work on this account and will actively contribute to the success of the program.
Requirements
- Experience translating and reviewing content in Legal and Customer Support subject matter.
- Proficient in all areas of expertise: Legal and Customer Support.
- Well-versed in various translation & terminology tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Native fluency in Thai.
- Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
- Able to translate and review.
- Must be US or Canada-based.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a multi-vendor scenario.
Responsibilities
- Translate and review content from English into Thai, ensuring the original meaning is conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to the target audience.
- Take ownership of the incoming work on this account and actively contribute to the success of the program.
- Work with Phrase CAT tool (workflow based on Open Offers).
- Follow instructions, such as character restrictions and style guides.
- Communicate effectively the rationale behind translation decisions.
- Perform copy editing for Customer Service and Legal components.
- Potentially expand scope to include other task types.
