About The Position

Empowerment Academy Charter School is hiring a Middle School ELA Teacher for the upcoming school year and beyond. NJDOE Certification is required. Base Salary: $70,500 - $90,000+ Competitive Raises Year to Year and Paid Summer Training! Empowerment Academy is a dynamic and successful charter school that truly supports its teachers and staff. Requirements

• Teacher certification is required for this role.
• Candidate must hold a CE, CEAS, Limited CE, or Standard Certificate in “English” issued by the NJDOE.
• The 5-8 ELA Add-On would be acceptable for the MS role as well.
• Please only apply if certified.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons and solve problems in professional learning communities (PLCs).
• Partner with an array of specialists to meet scholars’ diverse needs.
• Tutor students struggling to master an essential skill.
• Help students struggling with non-academic problems.
