World Relief seeks an English Conversation Partners (ECP) Intern to join their team. This position supports World Relief Sacramento departments and their education outreach initiative by providing direct English conversation practice to immigrants. The intern will work with the World Relief Sacramento Education team and the regional volunteer coordinator to support volunteers and clients. This role requires English language fluency and involves supporting client-volunteer matching, administrative tasks for client enrollment, and tracking volunteer hours. The position requires a commitment to a set schedule and is ideal for interns pursuing studies in Education, TESOL, Social Work, or related fields. This is a 10-hour per week internship with a hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 days remote). The intern will gain cross-cultural experience, learn about refugee integration needs, effective second-language teaching techniques, and the importance of English skills for integration in the U.S. This is an unpaid internship, but university credit may be available.
