About The Position

AJ Tutoring is seeking bright, energetic, and passionate individuals to join their team as English and History Tutors. This role involves in-person tutoring during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Tutors are expected to commit to a minimum of 15 tutoring hours per week, with additional hours for administrative tasks, and work through the end of the 2026/27 academic year. Requirements

• Have a 4 year college degree.
• Be passionate about education.
• Have experience in working with students.

• Be enthusiastic and positive.

Nice To Haves

• Background in education.
• Experience in coaching, youth leadership, camp counseling, mentoring, or the performing arts.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in English and History in person.
• Commit to a minimum of 15 tutoring hours per week.
• Complete a few additional hours of administrative work per week.
• Work at AJ Tutoring through the end of the 2026/27 academic year.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
