We are currently looking to fill multiple new positions for a Technologist in various departments across our Barrie, Bracebridge, Collingwood, Guelph and Orillia locations. The successful candidate will be engaged in the design of municipal infrastructure and land development projects, involving residential and industrial subdivisions, site plans, lot grading plans, storm and sanitary sewers, septic systems, storm water management systems, water mains, roads and parking lots.

Requirements

  • A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software
  • Registered or eligible for registration with OACETT
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of engineering standards, guidelines and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and work independently under minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • C.E.T. designation would be an asset
