This position is open due to a temporary vacancy. The Engineering Technologist, Roads & Utilities evaluates and coordinates rehabilitation projects; assists with technical assessments on traffic operations and/or studies; coordinates utility related activities; provides technical assistance and/or prepares designs and drawings for a variety of civil engineering projects, prepares cost estimates and contract documents; administers and provides inspections; assists with the preparation, coordination and compiling of review comments on engineering submissions to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and conditions to satisfy the Municipality’s engineering standards and industry best practices.
