Requirements

  • Must have 3 to 10 years of experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Department of Defense security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge, as part of an engineering staff.
  • Work with the engineering staff to build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery for subsequent evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering design decisions.
  • Properly operate and install integrated computer/communication systems.
  • Test and understand the operations of consoles, simulators, and other data acquisition systems.
  • Provide support to appropriate types of test equipment and systems as requested by the engineering staff.
  • Utilize test equipment to measure effectiveness and accuracy of equipment.
  • Apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge.
  • Build, repair, adjust and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls and machinery under the direction of engineering staff.
