About The Position

XNRGY Climate Systems is seeking an Engineering Technician to support manufacturing and production teams in evaluating, developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions to complex manufacturing processes. The role works with process and design engineers and supports process optimization, production trials, equipment troubleshooting, and documentation. The position reports to the Process Engineering Manager and is based at XNRGY's modern facility in Mesa, Arizona.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
Experience with failure diagnosis and root-cause analysis.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic about learning and improving, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and develop assembly processes based on manufacturing best practices.
Support manufacturing processes and suggest improvements.
Support time-study evaluations and recommend improvement ideas.
Assist the process engineer with manufacturing-process activities.
Update work instructions based on feedback from failures and corrective actions.
Work with process and design engineers to document and follow up on corrective actions for process optimization.
Work with the engineering organization to define part-exchange strategies when manufacturing-process deviations occur.
Support production trials and provide feedback on feasibility.
Support, review, and update training documents and work instructions.
Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
Perform minor operation of equipment used in the production process.
Follow plant safety policies and procedures and proactively identify unsafe conditions.
Participate in health and safety programs.
