About The Position

Timpte is hiring for an Engineering Technician in Lincoln, NE to support the growth of their new Manufacturing Center. This role will support all manufacturing departments through the development, manufacturing, and/or procurement of tools, fixtures, equipment, and processes. The pay for this position is $65k-75k dependent on experience with monthly bonuses up to $5,000 per year.

Requirements

• AAS degree in a Manufacturing related field or minimum of 3 years experience in related field.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering part drawings.
• Must have an understanding of Fabrication, Subassembly, and Final line assembly in a Manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and implement solutions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience in metal fabricator and/or welding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support new process development and sustainment activities to improve production safety, throughput, and quality.
• Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, teams, and trainings to drive continuous improvement in conjunction with our Timpte Production System.
• Assist with equipment and/or tooling design, development, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and update tooling and process documentation for all equipment and processes.
