About The Position

This is an hourly position for an Engineering Technician responsible for the release of hardware to the manufacturing floor through the finished product. The role involves planning product stages and best practices for the factory floor, utilizing high-level technical expertise to set up, modify, optimize, and monitor production processes. The technician will examine process flows to streamline production and improve turnaround times, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements for new or existing product lines. Strong interpersonal skills are needed to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 1-5+ years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to generate assembly work instructions for assembling hardware in Dozuki.
• Ability to read blueprint/drawings and BOM’s.
• Ability to interface with all levels of Engineering, Quality Assurance and Production teams.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and errors in paperwork.
• Demonstrated high degree of mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with assembly of hardware.
• Experience troubleshooting process problems in a technical environment.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Personally accountable for responsibilities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate across levels and functions.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Associate’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
