About The Position

Noblis MSD is seeking an Electronics Technician to support U.S. Navy Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) programs. This role involves performing hands-on installation, modification, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of submarine hull, mechanical, electrical, and communication systems through shipboard and on-site work. The technician will also conduct equipment testing, prototype development, and assembly/disassembly per Navy specifications. Additionally, they will develop technical procedures and documentation for radar antenna systems, create technical manual procedures, support test site operations and radar depot organizational activities, manage materials inventory, and participate in technical evaluations and design analyses for submarine systems. This is a hybrid position located at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, requiring 4 days a week on-site.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting U.S. Navy Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) programs.
  • Experience with installation, modification, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of submarine hull, mechanical, electrical, and communication systems.
  • Experience conducting equipment testing, prototype development, and assembly/disassembly per Navy specifications.
  • Experience developing technical procedures and documentation for radar antenna systems.
  • Experience creating technical manual procedures.
  • Experience supporting test site operations and radar depot organizational activities.
  • Experience managing materials inventory, procurement, receiving, storage, and database maintenance.
  • Experience participating in technical evaluations and design analyses for submarine systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on installation, modification, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of submarine hull, mechanical, electrical, and communication systems through shipboard and on-site work.
  • Conduct equipment testing, prototype development, and assembly/disassembly per Navy specifications.
  • Develop technical procedures and documentation for radar antenna systems (disassembly, inspection, assembly, parts lists).
  • Create technical manual procedures using full-scale equipment following established formats.
  • Support test site operations and radar depot organizational activities.
  • Manage materials inventory, procurement, receiving, storage, and database maintenance.
  • Participate in technical evaluations and design analyses for submarine systems.
