Join our Technical Team as an Engineering Technician supporting our California assets. This is a primarily office-based role that works closely with asset engineers, production staff, field operations, and other technical stakeholders to turn operational and well data into accurate, actionable information. This position is a great opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build practical experience in the oil & gas industry. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and technical professionals while gaining hands-on exposure to well operations, production data, well integrity, technical reporting, regulatory requirements, and asset performance. The Engineering Technician will support well reviews, data analysis, reporting, technical planning, and regulatory documentation while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to keep projects and workflows moving forward. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable industry knowledge and technical skills while working directly with the teams responsible for our assets. Occasional travel to field locations will be required. Under supervision, the Engineering Technician works in conjunction with production staff to provide reports based on accumulated production, well test, injection, cost data, surveillance, well integrity and other metrics. The incumbent produces data for making evaluations and interpretations; initiates and develops more accurate and reliable data analyses and reporting methodologies; and monitors new technologies drawing upon their expertise to make recommendations for further exploitation of existing technologies.
