Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Secret-level security clearance (active or eligible)
6+ years of relevant hands-on experience, or 2+ years post-secondary/Associate degree with 2+ years experience
Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and maintaining complex equipment and systems
Ability to follow established processes, identify straightforward issues, and resolve them independently
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree preferred
Experience with advanced calibration and alignment procedures
Familiarity with electromechanical and optical systems
Background in test equipment design and construction

Responsibilities

Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical equipment and systems
Assist in the design, assembly, testing, and check-out of test equipment to meet project requirements
Interpret and work from schematics, engineering drawings, repair manuals, and verbal/written instructions
Perform calibration and alignment checks, adjustments, modifications, and component replacements as directed
Operate complex machines and computer systems, conduct tests, and accurately report results
Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions in support of technical operations
Collaborate with internal and external contacts to resolve issues and provide technical insights
