About The Position

DPP is seeking an Engineering Technician for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry. This is a 7-month W2 contract role for a US Citizen, located onsite in Redondo Beach, CA.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of Mechanical principles.
  • Blueprint comprehension.
  • Ability to work with computers & Microsoft tools.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of tools and measurement devices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical tools and hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, integrate and test space flight hardware while interpreting blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Handle and assemble delicate and ESD sensitive flight hardware in a dynamic team environment.
  • Assist with occasional assembly of non-flight Ground Support Equipment and work with forklifts, cranes and associated rigging equipment.
