Engineering Technician- Dept 166, 1st Shift
About The Position
Join our team as an Engineering Technician and play a vital role in our Production Engineering department. You will be responsible for developing innovative inspection programs, along with testing their effectiveness and adjusting when necessary. You will work closely with other Engineering departments, as well as our Production and Maintenance departments, to contribute to our defect detection process of soldered electronic components across all of the 20x Plants. This role is crucial for maintaining our strict quality standards and requires a strong foundation in engineering principles and inspection technologies.
Requirements
- Fluent in MS Excel
- Experience learning complex software
- Understanding of optical inspection systems
- Familiarity with electrical component soldering
- 6 months of DENSO experience by Service Date
- 2 year technical degree or equivalent experience (DMTN Production Technician experience counts toward the 2-year requirement)
Responsibilities
- Developing innovative inspection programs
- Testing the effectiveness of inspection programs and adjusting when necessary
- Working closely with other Engineering departments, Production, and Maintenance departments
- Contributing to the defect detection process of soldered electronic components across all 20x Plants
