Requirements

  • Knowledge of Ion implanters and RF plasma systems is required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and interact with a diverse project team to collect, compile, maintain and interpret data and test results accurately.
  • Associate degree or equivalent technical certification in electronics, electrical, automotive, robotics, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced Engineering & R&D environment.
  • Willingness to adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures while working with hazardous materials and equipment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts if business needs require.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts for training and or team building exercises.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally, sometimes on short notice.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on semiconductor implant equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent downtime.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, utilizing technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and expertise in semiconductor processes.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to schedule, including cleaning, calibration, and replacement of parts.
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop new semiconductor equipment and optimize existing equipment performance.
  • Document maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments, in maintenance logs and databases.
  • Assist in the setup, and qualification of new experimental semiconductor implant equipment.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements and best practices in semiconductor equipment to continuously improve maintenance and operational processes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working with hazardous materials and high-voltage equipment.
  • Required participation in site Emergency Response Team (ERT) which includes: Maintaining ERT training and certifications; participate in drills and meetings Respond to workplace emergencies and support evacuation and incident management activities Maintain readiness, professionalism, and confidentiality during all ERT functions Support site safety, preparedness, and regulatory compliance initiatives
