About The Position

The R&D Engineering Technician is responsible for developing methods to support the production and testing of new products. This role provides technical support for new product designs and processes, assists with product scale-up, and contributes to design and product optimization. This position reports to the Senior R&D Manager and is part of the Filtration R&D New Product Development Team located in Westborough, MA, and will be an on-site role. Requirements

  • 1+ year of Engineering Technician experience in product or process development, or 2+ years in filtration manufacturing environment.
  • Strong teamwork and exceptional self-motivation, consistently demonstrating perseverance and a data‑driven approach.
  • Able to independently resolve general issues with minimal reliance on others.
  • High School diploma, GED, or higher
  • Ability to travel approximately 5% - domestic and international overnight.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in testing of filtration devices in lab or MFG environments.
  • 3+ years of Engineering Technician experience in product or process development, or 5+ years in filtration manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve R&D objectives by contributing technical expertise to the new product development team, driving successful fabrication and testing of advanced filtration products.
  • Testing new products in lab environments to include characterizing, integrity testing (including failure mode analysis), and protein testing of various filtration devices.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, order supplies and instruments as needed for team/projects.
