The successful candidate will perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance on Plasma Etch and other RF Plasma Systems, working closely with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role involves adhering to safety standards, performing high voltage electrical, high vacuum, and mechanical diagnostics, modifying and rebuilding modules, and executing preventative maintenance. The technician will also partner with engineers and scientists to address customer challenges and support new product development, maintain accurate logbooks, compile test data, and provide detailed reports. Additionally, they will conduct engineering tests, interpret results, work from schematics and diagrams, identify areas for improvement, suggest process improvements, contribute to equipment reliability initiatives, and provide training to lower-level Engineering Technicians.
