About The Position

Entegris is seeking an Engineering Technician II to join their Receiving team in Burnet. This role is responsible for starting, monitoring, and troubleshooting purification systems. The technician will also perform decontamination, sampling, filling, and inspecting products. This position is part of a team focused on ensuring products meet high standards of safety and quality while meeting customer timelines. The technician will also work cross-functionally. The shift schedule is a 3-2-2-3 rotation on days (6am-6pm) once fully trained and certified.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of sublimation, decon, valve building, harvesting, fill and morph solids

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs
  • Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field a plus
  • Previous chemical handling experience
  • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of inventory management
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000

Responsibilities

  • Run purifications systems under specific quality and engineering controls
  • Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment
  • Sample, fill, and inspect final products
  • Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis
  • Fill different sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product
  • Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards
  • Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal
  • Ensure on-time delivery of low volume products from make to ship
  • Propose and implement process improvements
  • Work with Engineers to run experiments, troubleshoot systems, create/update PMs and maintain spare parts
  • Other duties as assigned
