Lynker Corporation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Technician II (Lab) to assist the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) in providing quality meteorological and oceanographic observations in the marine environment. This role supports the design, engineering, fabrication, testing, deployment, and maintenance of worldwide buoy systems, including Weather Buoy Stations, Coastal Observation (C-MAN) stations, Tropical Atmosphere-Ocean Array (TAO) systems, and Deep-Ocean Assessment and Reporting of Tsunami (DART) stations. The program also involves data analysis, storage, and dissemination of weather and environmental data. The Engineering Technician II will perform a variety of tasks related to electronics, including component-level assembly, bench testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic Line Replaceable Units and processing systems within an electronics laboratory environment.
