About The Position

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Engineering Technician, Autoclave to oversee, operate, and control multiple autoclaves during the curing process of composite and metal bonded structures. The role is based onsite at the Riverside manufacturing facility and works Monday through Friday on second shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Requirements

Diploma, AA/AS degree, or other two-year post-high-school training, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Experience operating and maintaining machines and ensuring constant data flow.
Experience with MS Office.
U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Experience operating autoclave equipment.

Prior autoclave certification.

Responsibilities

Operate autoclaves to support manufacturing activities.
Review technical data and production specifications to write and edit recipes.
Ensure bonded structures meet cure specifications.
Generate cure reports for individual parts.
Adjust load configurations to improve cure quality.
Provide support and direction to team members.
Communicate with various programs regarding priorities.
Assist support functions with process improvements.
Manage and update the Autoclave Tracker.
Handle most issues within the department.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Follow safe work practices and comply with company policy.
