About The Position

Parsons is looking for talented Engineering Technicians for Air Traffic Systems to join their team. In this role, you will perform the installation of communications systems and automation systems at FAA facilities across the United States National Air Space (NAS). This position works as part of a construction and installation crew installing new or upgrading existing equipment and systems such as communications systems and automation systems. The technician completes projects on airports and at remote facilities in various environments establishing new or upgrading existing systems. Work will involve electrical systems installation, civil construction tasks, and electrical equipment installation tasks.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • 100% travel is required throughout the United States, its territories and possessions, and anywhere federally owned and operated air traffic equipment is operated.
  • Must pass government background check to qualify.
  • Must be able to pass fleet driver motor vehicle history check as well as DOT physical requirements.
  • Prior experience with above and below ground electrical installations, duct banks, manholes, steel racks, towers and poles, surveying, concrete work, excavation equipment operations, and airfield systems.
  • Familiar with construction quality and safety best practices.
  • Able to read, interpret, and implement project drawings, specifications, and client orders and standards.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 training preferred.
  • Terrific customer service skills – a history of working directly with customers and site owners.
  • Electrician license.
  • Computer skills – experience working with Microsoft Office for daily and weekly reporting.
  • Should have experience with the use of electrical and electronics test equipment.
