This role focusses on Human Capital | Project Management | Engineering | Environmental | Compliance | Risk Management | IT Effectiveness | Business Process | Training Knowledge Management Solutions for clients such as Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) | SRMC Supply Chain / Procurement supporting the Liquid Waste Program under DOE prime contract 89303322DEM000068 Generally Located In Aiken, South Carolina and across the Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Region Working On-Site (Client Site). Provide Engineering and Technical Support Specialist (ETSS) Services and Solutions as a ProSidian Engagement Team Member working in a capacity that Supports engineering support activities through planning, analysis, coordination, documentation, compliance, quality assurance, and stakeholder support.. Apply senior technical expertise to resolve facility issues and strengthen operations, maintenance, and Engineering programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or technical discipline and 4+ years related operations, operations support, maintenance or Engineering experience OR;
Bachelor’s degree in a non-technical discipline and 5+ year related operations, operations support, maintenance or Engineering experience OR;
Associate's degree in an Engineering or technical discipline and 7+ years related operations, operations support, maintenance or Engineering experience OR;
High school diploma and 9+ years related operations, operations support, or maintenance experience
Familiarity with facility processes, systems, and equipment. Requires progressive experience in practical Engineering knowledge and its application. Advanced knowledge of site work control procedures and practices for maintenance, calibration, and operations. Clear understanding of work hazards, safety programs, operating configuration and lockout/hold identification is mandatory.
Additional specialized knowledge required varies with the particular technical assignment

Responsibilities

Performs Engineering activities independently based on practical experience, typically responsible for the scope of Engineering responsibilities commensurate with extensive practical experience.
Develops Engineering specifications and designs for process, operations, calibration, material and test equipment, installed or portable process instrumentation, or functional area systems.
Develops, reviews, and implements operating and calibration procedures and standards.
Plans and implements process and design changes for new and existing processes, systems and equipment. Maintains inventory of fixed and portable testing equipment.
Prioritizes Project s and programs to reflect shifting DOE priorities. Prioritizes and plans technical support programs to achieve division goals.
Develops performance indicators to persuade senior management of Project ed program and equipment changes.
Oversees installation of new equipment, major equipment modifications, and various other major equipment issues which support processes, calibration, measuring, or site operations.
Conducts technical reviews of proposed operations, calibration, or measuring equipment modifications.
Provides technical support to operations and maintenance technicians and other personnel as requested. Acts as advisor to less qualified technical support specialists to meet schedules and or resolve technical issues.
May develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance requirements.
