About The Position

The Engineer Technician position has the responsibility to work safely, maintain a positive attitude, be respectful to all and focus efforts and abilities towards building a quality product. The Engineering Technician position will design boats, and parts for boats. This role supports production and new product development.

Requirements

Minimum Degree Required: Trade, Tech or Vocational Education
Ability to understand 3D CAD
Ability to understand 2D CAD
Ability to use Microsoft Excel
Ability to use Microsoft Outlook
Light lifting, under 20 lbs.
Light carrying, under 20 lbs.
Moderate lifting, 21-59 lbs.
Moderate carrying, 21 – 59 lbs.
Straight pulling
Pushing
Repeated bending
Reaching over shoulders
Use of fingers
Walking
Standing
Kneeling
Repeated stretching
Specific visual requirements
Ability to distinguish basic colors
Ability to distinguish shades of color

Nice To Haves

Preferred Degree: Associate Degree in CAD (if applicable)

Responsibilities

Develops and performs 3D CAD and 2D CAD.
Develops and performs CNC programming.
Creates Bill of Materials.
Performs computer aided drafting and design using reverse engineering or sketches.
Conducts boat test as needed.
Develops design of prototype boats, special projects, and tooling projects.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
