About The Position
The Engineer Technician position has the responsibility to work safely, maintain a positive attitude, be respectful to all and focus efforts and abilities towards building a quality product. The Engineering Technician position will design boats, and parts for boats. This role supports production and new product development.
Requirements
- Ability to understand 3D CAD
- Ability to understand 2D CAD
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook
Nice To Haves
- Associate Degree in CAD (if applicable)
Responsibilities
- Develops and performs 3D CAD and 2D CAD.
- Develops and performs CNC programing.
- Creates Bill of Materials.
- Performs computer aided drafting and design using reverse engineering or sketches.
- Conducts boat test as needed.
- Develops design of prototype boats, special projects, and tooling projects.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
