About The Position

This role involves supporting missile testing by traveling to various global locations. The Engineering Tech I will be responsible for the setup, operation, data collection, and shutdown of test sets and equipment within a specially modified test vehicle. Routine maintenance on test sets and equipment/instrumentation is also a key part of the duties. The position requires driving a specially modified vehicle to diverse locations accessible by land.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Ability to follow detailed operating procedures.
  • Repeated manual lifting to 50lbs is required.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and a medium duty truck required (CDL not required).
  • Must be able to travel CONUS or OCONUS up to six (6) months a year.
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
  • Proficient with software tools such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Military experience or associate degree in engineering technology.
  • Basic electronic/computer troubleshooting skills.
  • AMMO certification.
  • Experience with automotive or diesel repair a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to locations around the world to support missile testing.
