Under relatively close supervision, the BMET I provides planned maintenance (PMs), electrical safety testing, repairs, calibration, installation, routine and emergency service on general diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices, as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree (Required)
- Associate's Degree
- Field of Study: Medical electronics or equivalent military related training
- Years of experience: Entry Level
- Anatomy & Physiology and medical terminology, Networks and regulatory standards

- Associates Degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology or equivalent military related training.
Responsibilities
- Performs schedule preventive maintenance PM s and electrical safety testing on non-life support clinical medical devices low and medium risk k
- Performs corrective maintenance, assists in installations, maintains and inspects a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic clinical devices.
- Maintains documentation on new equipment, inspections and repairs.
- Schedules and oversees third party repairs as necessary.
- Provides technical assistance and instruction on equipment operation to the end user.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
