About The Position

This position is for an Engineering and Manufacturing Technician focused on High Performance Computing (HPC) Racks. The role involves collaborating with engineers on server and rack installation, cabling, setup, validation of rack/system health, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities also include performing rework on servers and conducting quality testing on components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. This position requires the use of sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data for on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.

Requirements

• Experience with Server/Rack Hardware
• Ability to do Cable Management, Routing, and modification
• Good work ethic with thorough follow-through and closure
• Experience with using layout and schematics tools including Visio
• Experience with Windows and a Linux OS installation, OS/Data Backup, Recovery

Responsibilities

• Build and Assemble Servers
• Troubleshoot Server/Rack Powerup issues
• Route Cables and Connect inter and intra racks
• Logistics and Hardware RMA Management
• Create Interconnect and OMS Diagrams
• Create Documentation for Cabling
• Train ATE’s and Upgrade Engineers
