About The Position

Under the direction of the Senior Engineering Manager, this role is responsible for event utility installations and dismantling, as well as daily building maintenance and repairs. The position requires strong diagnostic skills for HVAC and electrical equipment, basic carpentry, tiling, and plumbing skills, and the ability to perform installation, repair, and preventative maintenance on various electrical or electronic equipment. The role also involves troubleshooting HVAC systems, interpreting blueprints, and operating various tools and equipment safely. Flexibility with work schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability, is essential. The position also requires performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Vocational or Technical School required
  • Three to five years relevant experience
  • Experience in general maintenance
  • Basic office computer skills
  • Ability to complete training as required by the CCA
  • Ability to safely operate drain cleaning equipment, power tools, multi-function electrical meters and testing tools and equipment

Responsibilities

  • Event utility installations and dismantling
  • Daily building maintenance and repairs
  • Utility installation/dismantling including 3 phase and single-phase connections up to 480 volts
  • Preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs of all equipment/systems in a commercial facility
  • Diagnosis of HVAC equipment and electrical equipment to include ballast, driver replacement, lamp replacement and fuse diagnosis
  • Facility maintenance to include basic carpentry and tiling skills, plumbing, including repairs of toilet, urinal, water heaters, sinks and drains
  • Perform the installation and repair, and preventative maintenance of various electrical or electronic equipment, including HVAC and motor controls, transformers, lighting controls, and HVAC building automation systems
  • Repair, maintain, and install motors and filters, belts and pulley alignment in HVAC systems
  • Troubleshoot HVAC systems to include pumps, plate, and frame heat exchangers and condensate returns
  • Drawing or blueprint interpretation and general knowledge of safety lock out tag out
  • Safely operate drain cleaning equipment, power tools, multi-function electrical meters and testing tools and equipment
  • Assist operations personnel as directed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
