As an Engineering Support Specialist II within Honeywell Aerospace’s Defense Surface Navigation Systems team, you will provide essential support to engineering development activities, ensuring high-quality documentation, accurate configuration management, and efficient coordination across engineering groups. You will play a critical role in enabling smooth product development workflows by coordinating engineering data, supporting document releases, performing occasional system-level testing in the engineering lab, managing product configuration information, and assisting with communication across internal and external stakeholders. Your contributions will directly support the development of new and existing navigation system products for Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. In this role, you will directly contribute towards the success of the engineering design success by providing critical technical support that includes, but is not limited to: Coordinating engineering documentation including specifications, test plans, user manuals, drawings, and reports, Supporting the release of engineering documents, drawings, code, and executables through Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) into TeamCenter, Managing engineering data spreadsheets and databases for product configuration tracking, Providing accurate configuration management support across a complex product line, Supporting the export of technical data, ensuring compliance with export control requirements, Facilitating and documenting Product Change Notice (PCN) meetings, Acting as a liaison between engineering groups and coordinating project planning or scheduling tasks, Responding to documentation and technical data inquiries from internal teams and external customers, Running structured HW/SW tests in the engineering lab using formal test procedures for embedded navigation system products.
