Education assistance, certification reimbursement and access to over 6,000 courses through our online learning library, designed to enhance your current skills and build new ones How you will make an impact Carry out company policy and duties as directed by the Facility Manager. Supervise and train the engineering staff in the safe and efficient operation of the Central Plant and Energy Management Systems. Responsible for the preventative maintenance and major maintenance of Central Plant Machinery. Supervise and train the HVAC mechanics to do preventative maintenance, major maintenance, and emergency calls on all HVAC equipment campus-wide. Responsible for the formulation and implementation of energy savings operations. Formulate a “sequence of operations” to best utilize the central plant machinery. Maintain proper and adequate inventory of spare parts. What you will need Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operation and supervision of multi-boiler and multi-chiller installations required Knowledge of computerized energy management systems Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory experience preferred Stationary Engineer license preferred Valid driver’s license is required if operating Community vehicles AFE Certified Professional Supervisor (CPS) certification within one year of hire. EPA 608 Universal certification within one year of hire. NFPA 70E certification within one year of hire. OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification within 1 year of hire Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
