About The Position

You are hands on, knowledgeable, and great at leading a small maintenance team. You understand building systems, preventive maintenance, and how to keep hotel operations running smoothly. The Role As the Engineering Supervisor, you oversee daily maintenance activities, assign and inspect repair work, and ensure the hotel is kept in good working condition. You support the Chief Engineer and help guide the maintenance team in repairs, safety, and guest service.

Requirements

• Previous hotel or building maintenance experience required
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems quickly
• Reliable, safety focused, and team oriented
• Able to lift, move, and work with tools and equipment

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and assign daily tasks
• Perform and supervise preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and life safety systems.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly
• Conduct property walkthroughs to identify repair needs and ensure brand standards are met
• Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations related to building systems, safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment in working order
• Assist the Chief Engineer with planning and project support
• Keep accurate records of work orders and completed tasks
