Little, a nationally recognized "Best Firm to Work For" and one of the nation's most progressive design firms, is seeking Engineering Summer Interns (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural or Architectural Engineering) with a positive, collaborative work style and interest in designing building systems for our offices in Charlotte, NC and Durham, NC. Internship opportunities are limited to rising college juniors, seniors, and graduate students. Internships are paid. Little is made up of Architects, Mechanical, Electrical and Structural Engineers, Land Planners, Landscape Architects & Civil Engineers, Interior Designers, Graphic Designers, CAFM & Strategic Planners and Digital Imaging and Animation specialists. We have offices in Charlotte NC, Newport Beach, CA, Durham NC, Orlando FL, Charleston, SC, and Washington DC. We are looking for a creative team player with strong communication & organizational skills. The candidate will preferably have experience using a variety of industry software including but not limited to: Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite. Activities may include: field site assessments, drafting, municipal permitting & entitlements, code research, material research and specifications. Our Interns work on real projects all summer under the mentoring of licensed engineers. The successful applicant will gain exposure to a diverse range of skills in the profession. Working side by side with creative architects, designers, engineers, project managers and support staff you will gain valuable hands-on experience.
