About The Position
The Engineering Summer Intern performs routine engineering and construction tasks within their department and on assigned projects. Alongside gaining knowledge through daily tasks and projects, interns have opportunities throughout the summer to develop soft skills and take on leadership roles. The position works in an office environment and carries out assigned duties under the direction of a supervisor.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an accredited engineering program.
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Interest in leadership and personal development opportunities.
- Willingness to relocate for both the internship and future full-time opportunities.
Nice To Haves
- Classified as a junior or senior.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Responsibilities
- Complete department tasks under the direction of an assigned supervisor.
- Perform discipline-specific calculations and coding as assigned.
- Assist technical service personnel in the proper execution of drawings.
- Support discipline-specific tasks for proposal work.
- Work on other miscellaneous projects as assigned.
