Spring 2027 Engineering Student Co-Op opening
About The Position
This is a Spring 2027 Semester Engineering Student Co-Op opening at our plant in Muskegon, Michigan. The role involves supporting the Engineering team with projects, planned outages, and mechanical equipment opportunities. The assignment is a minimum of 3 months, and part-time employment (20+ hrs/week) for 6 months also qualifies. The co-op will assist in developing, documenting, and improving preventive maintenance or continuous improvement programs to enhance equipment availability and throughput. Responsibilities include supporting the team during equipment failures and production loss, analyzing production delay data, and assisting with problem resolution and Project Engineering duties.
Requirements
- Enrolled and completed 2+ years accredited university in Engineering or similar discipline.
- Basic knowledge of engineering.

Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, documenting, and improving preventive maintenance or continuous improvement programs to support the improvement of equipment availability and throughput.
- Provide support for equipment failures and loss of production.
- Assist in analyzing production delay data for establishing and documenting or modifying preventive maintenance tasks.
- Provides support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
- Assist with Project Engineering duties.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Work with engineer(s) to prepare, coordinate and maintain schedules for extended production outages and major maintenance work.
- Work with maintenance craftsmen and operations to meet department goals.
