We’re on the hunt for a motivated and talented Engineering Student in our Processes and Automation department at our Montreal office. This is a 4 or 8 months assignation starting in September 2026. Overall, the successful candidate would be treated similar to a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.

Requirements

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in automation engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering or computer science with two (2) years completed
  • Proven technical skills in SQL, Python and VBA
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders
  • Motivation and ability to think for oneself, without supervision
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Strong interest in innovation and new technologies
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Knowledge of MES systems

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AI
  • Experience in the aerospace environment
  • Experience in a high volume production environment
  • Knowledge of UR robots

Responsibilities

  • Design, commissioning, improvement and maintenance of automated equipment
  • Choice and integration of systems involving computer, mechanical, electronic, robotics and computer vision technologies
  • Assessment of the impact of the introduction of automated systems and equipment on costs, maintenance, staff training, productivity, work organization
  • Analyze and validate existing processes, while participating in the design, installation and deployment of new solutions
  • Develop satellite programs and databases to link our ERP/MES system with production (industry 4.0 mentality)
