About our group: The Device Physics Pillar within the Seagate Research Group (SRG) consists of the Joint HAMR Lab (JHL) and the Advanced Recording Group (ARG). The Advanced Recording group performs high ADC spin-stand testing and modeling to global groups to guide transducer level and drive level design for advanced HDD products. About the role - you will: Work with manual/ CNC toolroom machines, 3 and 5 axis set up and operation Read blueprints and shop work requests Be responsible for material handling and inspection Work with component assembly Conduct routine machine maintenance Implement 5S activities Work with quality inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, surface gages and Cadillac gages and optical measurement equipment About you: Honesty / Integrity - Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace.
