Vertiv is seeking a highly experienced and driven Engineering Construction Manager to oversee the execution of medium-scale data center infrastructure projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the on-site construction process, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, engineering documentation and timelines. This position demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of mission-critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of projects from site preparation through commissioning for medium-scale data center projects; primarily for High Density Liquid Cooling Equipment and associated infrastructure. Vendor Management: Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and quality standards. Schedule Management: Monitor construction schedules, providing regular updates to stakeholders and taking corrective action as needed. Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction work complies with company standards, client requirements, and applicable codes and regulations. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage potential risks, safety issues, and design conflicts; implement mitigation strategies promptly. Client Interaction: Act as a point of contact for clients on construction-related matters, fostering a professional relationship through clear communication and problem-solving. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, punch lists, daily reports, and project closeout materials. Commissioning Support: Work with commissioning agents and Vertiv engineering teams to ensure systems are fully tested and operational before handover.
