About The Position

The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join their Engineering team. This role is responsible for the overall maintenance of the facility, with a specific focus on maintaining and servicing refrigeration and HVAC equipment. The technician will also act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, respond to safety hazards, and maintain a daily activity log. The position requires consistent professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests and adherence to department policies and safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Maintenance role required
• Must have EPA 608 Universal Certification
• Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently
• Adhere to Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Grooming Guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications
• Relevant building HVAC experience is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable

Responsibilities

• Ensure the overall maintenance of the facility
• Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance
• Maintain and service refrigeration & HVAC equipment for facility
• Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards
• Maintain all actions in a daily activity maintenance log
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned
