About The Position

As an Engineering Quality Co-op at Pratt and Whitney, you will immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January 2027 - May 2027. This is a working mentorship opportunity where you will collaborate with the Engineering Quality multidiscipline groups to use everyday data to improve quality systems. Groups include Software Quality Assurance, Escapes Management, Quality Requirements Engineering, Design Assurance, and Engineering Records and Standards. The co-op will work with EQ digital platforms (PowerApps, Co-Pilot, etc.) and various datasets to continue to improve EQ efficiency and effectiveness. This unique program led by experienced Engineering professionals will ensure that our Co-op is learning, mentored, and intertwined with the organizations they support by having substantial work and projects. Pratt & Whitney’s Engineering Co-op program provides you with a flexible learning environment to help kick-start your career and provides us with the resources to meet our workforce requirements for the future. We will provide mentorship to you by a senior engineer and exposure to senior management and executives.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, Business Analytics or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field and actively enrolled through the completion of the co-op session.
  • Must have a minimum of 45 hours of credit by the start of the co-op session.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Outlook) and/or PowerApps.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA Cumulative GPA
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing projects, working with projects, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Previous exposure to data analytics & tools preferred.
  • Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
  • Experience with interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.

Responsibilities
