We are seeking a driven and technically strong Engineering Project Manager to join our Engineering team in Saint John, New Brunswick. This role reports directly to the R&D Manager and is crucial for delivering innovative product development projects that meet high standards for quality, performance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys leading cross-functional projects from concept to launch, making a meaningful impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Thermodynamics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in product development and design engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of design engineering principles and project management processes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Results-driven with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organized and structured, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional and collaborative environment
  • Fluent in English

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in project management, ideally within international or leading organizations, is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of product development projects, from concept through final validation and launch.
  • Coordinate and align internal teams and external partners/suppliers to meet project milestones.
  • Apply best practices in project management methodology, defining readiness criteria and tracking KPIs aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor project performance, including timelines, costs, risks, and change requests, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Take technical ownership of product development, including design oversight and validation requirements.
  • Collaborate with finance to prepare and structure project business plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement of project management processes within the organization.
