About The Position

The Engineering Project Manager will work directly with the Director of Engineering to define project objectives, priorities, and success criteria. This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing engineering projects from initiation through completion, including developing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans. The manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors, monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions. Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational standards is crucial. The position requires preparing and presenting project updates, overseeing procurement, managing project budgets, tracking costs, and forecasting financial requirements. Additionally, the role involves resolving technical and operational issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and reviewing technical documentation. A valid Oregon driver's license is required.

Requirements

2-4 years of project management experience in an engineering or technical environment
Strong understanding of engineering systems, processes, and the full project lifecycle
Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Effectively manage financial resources within projects while aligning with organizational goals and operational needs
Possession of valid Oregon driver’s license
Excellent driving record and ability to be insured by the hospital’s auto insurance policy
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

Experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or facilities engineering is preferred
Strong familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning processes
