The Software Developer Productivity team is looking for an experienced program manager to join the Core OS Platform Services and Operations EPM team. This is an opportunity to drive key software initiatives as a partner specifically with the Operations and Workflow Engineering groups within the Platform Services organization. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Program Manager to lead highly cross-functional technology efforts designing, building, optimizing, and shipping software in all phases of development from pre-silicon simulation, to sample bring-up, to already-shipping systems. This role requires an energetic and motivated individual with strong communication, organization, and technical skills who works well in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and also have a desire to learn, develop, and build on technical expertise during product development. DESCRIPTION We are looking for someone to drive, own, and improve the quality and efficiency of Core OS software operations. In this role you will be the central hub bringing together different teams from SW Engineering, Quality, Development Operations, and Build and Test platform organizations, with the goal of improving the operational effectiveness of the organization. Creating and maintaining detailed project plans, schedule, and status documentation for our Ops and Workflow initiatives. Bringing together and collaborating with large cross-functional stakeholder groups. Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding requirements, changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information. Present and communicate new feature initiatives, top issues, risks, and critical achievements to executive leadership. Driving focus to critical path deliverables and track execution of dependencies. Coordinating complex and highly dependent groups of changes through our build and integration systems. Acting as a liason with the Build EPM team around software program deadlines and milestones Proactively identifying risks to software delivery, developing mitigation strategies, and facilitating resolutions.
