About The Position

This Notice is being provided as a result of the filing of an application for permanent alien labor certification for the position shown below. The employer is Lennox International Inc. The role involves working closely with management and business leaders to create program scope, objectives, and risk assessment. The position requires managing and facilitating execution and operating mechanisms coordinated with business cadence, including program kick-off, cross-functional core team meetings, complexity assessment, scope/change management, risk management, integrated program planning/execution, and communication. The role also involves working closely with product marketing to finalize and document customer and product requirements, and directing and coordinating activities of the core cross-functional team to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget while meeting established system requirements. Additionally, the position requires conferring with project team leaders to develop plans and assign duties, reviewing status reports, conferring with program personnel for technical advice and problem resolution, and preparing program objectives, milestones, meeting minutes, risk assessment meetings, escalation meetings, design reviews, and design changes. The role also includes working on process improvement initiatives related to New Product Development (NPD) or Cost Reduction processes, and collaborating with sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, supplier development engineers (SDE), and external partners (suppliers/vendors) with project execution. Travel up to 20% is required initially for building relationships and networking with Division and Factory Engineering and Operations teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, or a related field, and 8 years of experience in the job offered or as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Portfolio Manager, or in a related/similar position.
  • 5 years with Project Management and Program Management;
  • 5 years in developing detailed project schedules and performing cross functional risk management;
  • 5 years in product development and cost reduction processes;
  • 5 years in working with cross‑functional leadership across all organizational levels, including senior management and C‑suite executive;
  • 5 years in leading one or more complex development projects;
  • 2 years in consumer products, software, and hardware development.
  • Requires domestic and international travel (Up to 20%)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with management and business leaders to create the program scope, objectives, and risk assessment.
  • Manage and facilitate execution and operating mechanisms coordinated with business cadence.
  • Manage program kick-off, cross-functional core team meetings, complexity assessment, scope/change management, risk management, integrated program planning/execution, and communication.
  • Work closely with product marketing to finalize and document customer and product requirements.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of the core cross-functional team to ensure that the project progresses on schedule and within budget while meeting established system requirements.
  • Confer with project team leaders to develop plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
  • Review status reports prepared by project team leaders and combines information into a program status report to present and/or submit to management and others.
  • Confer with program personnel to provide technical advice and problem resolution.
  • Prepare and/or facilitate development of program objectives, milestones, meeting minutes, risk assessment meetings, escalation meetings, design reviews, and design changes.
  • Work on process improvement initiatives related to New Product Development (NPD) or Cost Reduction processes.
