About The Position

Join Apple’s Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) group and AiDP, the organization building Apple’s enterprise Generative AI and Data platforms. AiDP brings together data, application development, machine learning, data services, and customer success to help IS&T build solutions efficiently and advance the adoption of generative AI across Apple. This role is aimed at an early-career program manager who is fluent with AI tools and wants to shape AI-native program management. You will deliver AI and data platform programs to Apple employees, using AI agents and assistants as working partners to automate and improve program operations. You will help manage launches where readiness and quality require evaluation rather than simple pass/fail testing, and where decisions may need to be made amid uncertainty. The role spans end-to-end program delivery and post-launch outcomes. You will track adoption, engagement, retention, and business impact, then use those insights to inform future roadmaps. You will also contribute a user-centric perspective to product definition and share effective program automation practices with the broader PMO.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of industry experience in an engineering, technical product, or technical program role.
  • At least 1 year managing AI programs or projects across multiple teams toward a shared objective.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools in personal work to automate analysis, draft, prototype, or build something that was subsequently used; candidates should be prepared to show what they built.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Working understanding of how AI systems differ from deterministic software, including non-determinism, evaluation, and quality when there is no single correct output.
  • Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving, high-visibility environment, exercised with discretion and integrity.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex programs concisely to executives and in detail to engineers.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to AI/ML or data platform programs, such as model deployment, evaluations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic systems, or data pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery for AI and data platform programs, including scope, roadmap, dependencies, critical path, risks, and launch readiness.
  • Partner with engineering to define evaluation and quality criteria for AI capabilities, and track those criteria as program health signals alongside schedule.
  • Build and maintain a single source of truth for program status, including clear directly responsible individuals (DRIs), sequenced dependencies, and transparent risk calls.
  • Report program status to engineering and executive leadership at the appropriate level of detail and cadence.
  • Drive consensus across teams with competing priorities and influence partner organizations without direct authority.
  • Measure adoption and business impact after launch, and use findings to shape subsequent roadmap cycles.
  • Use AI agents and assistants to automate program operations such as reporting, triage, and synthesis, and share effective practices with the broader PMO.
  • Contribute to product definition with a user-centric perspective and challenge decisions that do not serve the user.
