About The Position

This role is for an Engineering Product Manager for Cloud Control Studio at Cisco. The AI Software & Platform Group is building the platform for AI app development, and Cloud Control Studio is the user experience on top of it. This position owns how builders create in Cloud Control Studio, from prompt to a production-grade app, whether they use App Builder or bring their own coding agent. The role spans both free and paid capabilities, and involves shaping the strategy, owning the commercial model (pricing, packaging, free vs. paid), and driving monetization and partnerships. The product manager will work closely with engineering and partner teams, and will be measured on outcomes such as shipped apps, adoption, revenue, and ecosystem health.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in product management or an equivalent discipline.
  • Experience owning a product or experience end to end with accountability for both adoption and business or revenue outcomes.
  • Hands-on software engineering background; shipped production code.
  • Demonstrated experience taking a product from concept to a shipping, widely adopted state with real commercial outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Domain depth in AI application platforms and app builders, including prompt-to-app or agentic app-generation products.
  • Hands-on experience using AI coding agents and understanding of how AI is reshaping software development.
  • Experience in commercial model design, including pricing, packaging, and free/paid capability integration for developer or platform products.
  • Comfort owning a major ecosystem or model-provider relationship end to end.
  • Experience unifying multiple product surfaces into a single, cohesive experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal teams, external customers, and stakeholders.
