About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an experienced Painter or Carpenter, who is highly motivated, and detail-oriented to join our team at the La Quinta Resort and Club. This individual performs a variety of maintenance trade functions such as wall repair (Stucco, textured), Painting, and Furniture repair and painting. You will be working closely with different members of our team, so you will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude. Requirements

Experience working as a painter or carpenter
Knowledge of "household" repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
Engaging and welcoming personality
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
Excellent communication skills
Available to work various shifts to include weekends and holidays
Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout duration of shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance of building, facility and soft goods
Performs finishes repairs and touch ups to various surfaces throughout the hotel and meeting space.
Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.
Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and window, carpeting, etc.
Participates in the hotel/resorts preventive maintenance program
Keeps records as required by company policy and procedures.
Maintains logs on completed tasks.
Prepares reports as requested by supervisors.
Submits all requested reports/logs in a timely manner.
