About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Engineering Multidiscipline Specialist to join its Power & Industrial team. The role may be remote within the United States or hybrid at one of the company’s U.S. hub offices in Exton or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Houston or San Antonio, Texas; Richmond or Winchester, Virginia; Orange, Connecticut; or Lauderdale, Melbourne, Tallahassee, or Tampa, Florida. The specialist prepares, designs, modifies, coordinates, and reviews process piping and process equipment designs for power generation and industrial manufacturing facilities. The position includes preparing PFDs and P&IDs under a process engineer’s supervision; laying out complex piping systems and equipment in a 3D environment; and preparing isometric drawings with bills of materials. The specialist may work with internal or third-party 3D scanning resources and assist with converting point clouds for 3D model development. The role also involves selecting piping components, coordinating process-system architectural requirements and process-equipment electrical requirements, reviewing construction progress in the field, and participating in commissioning. The successful candidate demonstrates expertise in designing, detailing, assembling, and laying out piping systems, equipment, and pipe-support structural systems using 2D/3D design software. They anticipate the effects of new designs through active client iterations, work independently and collaboratively, interface with clients, contractors, and coworkers, and mentor and engage with team members across offices. Overtime may be necessary as workload dictates, and travel to client sites is required. AtkinsRéalis describes its values as Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Excellence. The company is an engineering services and nuclear organization focused on infrastructure and energy systems. The position is classified as Employee and Regular. Expected compensation is $55.00–$75.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and geographic location.
