Engineering Manager
About The Position
The engineer's responsibilities and duties will include reviewing structural and architectural drawings and specifications for conflicts/questions, working with Project Management to create RFIs, and checking contract documents, RFIs, and specifications to ensure drawings are accurate. The role also involves checking addendums and new information for any changes to assigned jobs, adhering to applicable codes and company design standards, and reviewing and revising drawings based on engineering/architect comments, instructions, and field conditions. Additionally, the position requires assisting shop and field personnel with questions as necessary and revising drawings as directed through accepted bulletins and contract change orders.
Requirements
- Experience with structural steel detailing using is needed w/ 5 years’ experience or more.
- Comprehension of and ability to read blueprints, AWS welding symbols, etc.
- Highly organized and committed to producing accurate and detailed work.
- Friendly personality and willing to work as part of a management team.
Responsibilities
