About The Position
The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a regional engineering division, including revenue, staffing, and operations. Coastal Engineering is a specialized marine construction firm delivering complex, high-quality waterfront and underwater infrastructure projects along the East Coast. Our capabilities include piers, bulkheads, dams, bridges, dredging, and other critical marine structures. We are driven by a commitment to innovation, safety, sustainability, and executional excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (PE required).
- 10–15 years’ experience in engineering leadership.
- Proven ability to manage teams and revenue.
- Strong business and operational acumen.
Responsibilities
- Oversee regional engineering operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and project requirements
- Manage project backlog, staffing plans, and resource allocation to support operational efficiency and growth
- Drive financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and cost control across engineering projects
- Lead major engineering and marine projects, providing oversight and strategic direction
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a senior point of contact
- Coordinate with the Vice President on regional strategy, business development, and operational planning
- Ensure quality control and adherence to delivery standards across all engineering work
